Elvina McGill & Norma Coleman went to their bank/credit card company and created a chargeback 2 MONTHS (54 days) after getting a puppy from us. NOW THEY STILL HAVE BOTH THE PUPPY AND THE MONEY.....IN MY OPINION THAT HAS GOT TO BE THEFT???? OR FRAUD????? So BEWARE of this Pair!
Puppy Shipped - March 2, 2012
Chargeback Initiated - April 25, 2012
Elvina contacted me asking to buy a Pr of Chihuahua puppies for breeding. She had previously bought 2 girls from me. I priced each puppy and offered her a discount on the second puppy(a little girl) if she took both, and I charged her exactly what it cost me to ship the pair together (well actually I lost a couple of dollars). She agreed on the price. She asked if her sister could paypal the fees, as she did not have an account. I agreed since I had sold to her before, I thought it would be okay. Then she preceded to tell me about a horror story that she had with a local breeder who just sold her an adult female dog that she just found out had cancer, and the breeder offered her a female pup to replace the dog with cancer. She asked me PRIOR to shipping if when I took the pups to the vet for the health certificate, if I would have the vet check the bites, as she wanted to start with good bites as the new pup had an underbite. I told her I would, and reminded her that I only guarantee bites at the time of shipping IF that was pre-agreed, and sold to her as such. I took them to the vet, the day prior to shipping and the vet said both bites were good, but the female's was good, but the boys was "perfect". Elvina called my vet to confirm, and told me that she no longer wanted the female, so to just ship the male (I am assuming the new replacement pup had alot to do with this decision). I agreed, but reminded her prior to shipping that just the female was discounted, and the male was full price as he was this beautiful blue puppy pictured below that I had NUMEROUS requests for and the female was discounted if she took them both. She agreed to get a refund of the discounted price for the female once I sold her due to her changing her mind the day before shipping.
She got the Male puppy and was very happy. About 2 weeks later, I get an email from her that she wants her refund for the female pup, and that she didnt think it was fair, that I wasnt giving it to her right away and that she wanted her full price and not the discounted price that she paid! I let her know that I have not sold her yet (she is the Gracie & Beethovan puppy still for sale) and she would get the price she paid for the puppy. She then preceded to tell me that her vet said that the male now had an underbite and that she wanted to send him back and get a refund. I informed her, that the reason that she called my vet and spoke to her in person, was to verify the good bite PRIOR to shipping and that this was the only bite guarantee that I offered and she had no problem with the puppy when she got him until weeks later.......
54 days AFTER the sale, Paypal contacts me that NORMA Coleman (the supposed sister who sent Elvina's payment) had gone to her bank/credit card company and created a chargeback. Paypal was charged the full amount and put funds of mine on hold, while they "investigate". Paypal did inform me though, that the credit card company had already refunded the amount, without any investigation what so ever, and that they are at the mercy of the credit card company since I took the money from the sister (Norma Coleman) but shipped to Elvina McGill, as requested by Elvina IN WRITING.
I have presented all of this to paypal, but in the meantime, I am out 1800.00 to Norma, and Elvina has a FREE puppy!
You decide whether you would do business with either of these two ladies. UPDATE: IMMEDIATELY after this post, Elvina "reported" me to the State, and I was contacted and inspected and found to be in complete compliance, and DO NOT need a license as we are a small show/hobby home. Then she contacted the Attorney General, who also forwarded the info to me, as I had to send all the SAME stuff to AGAIN, including the shipping of the dog, the health certificate, and paypal tying up the funds while they investigated and fought their credit card company, ect.....
Yeah - Paypal has refunded all my monies!!! I did allow the refund of 300.00 for the 600.00 puppy she bought but changed her mind on the day before shipping minus the 300.00 non-refundable deposit - which she could have had all 600.00 of if she just would have waited for me to sell her, but instead played this aweful game. Now we are square, but I still had to go through all of this, have my money tied up for 2 months, and get a "an unneccessary suprise inspection" from the state, and deal with and send copies of all dealings with her and her sister, to the Attorney General to straighten out all the BS.
This is the male puppy that she bought.
